What makes Tegal Wangi unique is because it’s located in plain sight, yet the beach itself is called a ‘hidden’ beach. This beach is considered to still be a ‘virgin’ beach due to the relatively difficult way to access. You can enjoy the beauty of this beach from the top, but if you want to get a closer look, you must go down carefully through their stony walkway, so please reconsider if you want to take kids or elderlies here. However, Tegal Wangi is widely popular among wedding photographers due to its natural beauty and idyllic panorama.

THOMAS BEACH

Photo Source : IG @mathildelbyLocated halfway between Padang Padang and Uluwatu area, you can find Thomas beach right below Thomas Homestay. To reach this beach, you must go through around 300 steps down but once you got there, the white sand and sparkling blue water will capture your heart right away. The current is quite big so it will be risky for you to swim too far from the sea shore, but surfers love this place do to its tranquil atmosphere, clean area and big waves.

BALANGAN BEACH

Balangan beach got its popularity between local and international surfers due to its gorgeous half-kilometre stretch of golden sand, right between vegetated limestone cliffs and reef with one of the longest left-hander breaks in Bali. Unlike Thomas and Green Bowl beach, Balangan Beach is easier to access, but keep in mind that as it is also known as a surfer’s paradise without lifeguards, you must be very careful if you want to swim here.
